Babies are so special and are born with a hungry curiosity in the world around them.
From their earlier beginnings, they take in their world through cuddles, babbles, vision, sound and touch.
Our safe and secure Baby and Toddler Room has everything our tiniest friends need to explore and enj0y learning about their little selves and their surroundings. The warm, cosy toom has everything from plush soft blankets that build security to a plethora of toys that inspire creativity.
Babies learn about cause and effect here, by getting messy through play. Feeling, touching and experiencing new sensations is very exciting for our tiny friends, and we enjoy singing and making music, encouraging them to develop and use their beautiful voices!
There is also a quiet sleep room with cots and day beds for children to sleep and rest in peaceful surroundings. There are viewing panels for staff and the temperature is monitored for the safety of sleeping children.

For most of the day, children of different ages are looked after separately, except during some outdoor play and special activity sessions.
Windmill came highly recommended to us by several people and it didn’t take us long to see why. The staff are all so caring and genuine, not to mention knowledgeable! Always going above and beyond the managers in particular seem to have a limitless amount of energy, constantly pushing to make improvements – building new things in the outdoor play area out of recycled materials and coming up with creative ways to make learning fun. We feel very lucky to have found such a brilliant nursery and our son couldn’t be happier there.
